John Terzungwe Baaki is a Deputy Executive Director at Women Environmental Programme (WEP), Nigeria, a women’s rights organization that ensures the lives of women and youth around the globe are positively transformed. John Baaki is an experienced environmentalist, climate change and gender expert. He holds a first Degree in Geography from Benue State University Makurdi,Benue State, Nigeria,  and a Masters Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. John has robust experience in climate change diplomacy  and sustainable development. He has contributed to several international and national sustainable development researches as well as to the development of national and sub-national climate change policies in Nigeria.
