Pluriversal Literacies

This course redefines literacies education beyond reading and writing to include the ability to read, relate to, and engage with the living world—its people, places, lands, waters, and more-than-human beings. The course invites educators, carers, and world-makers to challenge the dominance of written text and to listen to the languages of body, land, and matter.

The different sessions will help educators weave ecological awareness, Indigenous perspectives, and sustainability into their teaching, fostering locally grounded yet globally connected ways of knowing and relating to the world.
