Vanessa Duclos is one of SFG Co-Directors. She is an experienced ecologist known for her versatility, her ability and passion for working within multidisciplinary teams, and her extensive project management experience both in Quebec and internationally. She is particularly motivated by projects that integrate human and ecological dimensions, aiming for the sustainable and equitable management of natural resources. Vanessa excels in organizing collaborative events and exchanges, planning field campaigns overseas and in remote regions, and fostering strong, effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders—including universities, governments, municipalities, and private landowners. Her work is marked by a commitment to building partnerships that drive impactful, sustainable outcomes.
