
Grace Awosanmi
Grace Idowu Awosanmi is a doctoral student at the African Institute for Science, Policy Innovation, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Crop Science and Seed Science respectively.
Grace is a highly motivated and adaptable individual with a passion for learning and growth. She consistently looks for ways to improve and take on new challenges. In her previous roles as a community facilitator under the World Bank Funded Fadama III Programme and resource person for various collaborative research projects. She assisted the user groups in group formation, sensitised and trained on inclusive decision-making and local development planning (LDP), and helped the community associations to identify their priorities through participatory planning. Also, she has managed several research collaborative projects at the Seed Science Laboratory at Obafemi Awolowo University.
In her role as a research administrator for the Sustainable Futures Nigeria Network (SFNN), she facilitates the dissemination of information, ensures that funds are used effectively in accordance with grant’s objectives and regulations, and ensures that members understand their obligations and responsibilities in compliance with the network terms.
