Brian Simbeye
Brian Simbeye is the co-founder of Action for Social and Environmental Development (ASED), and currently he is one of the Directors. He is an upcoming researcher with one publication and 2 other pipeline research papers with a focus on climate change action, environmental sustainability and climate justice with a citizen science kind of approach.
Brian has been engaged in various works that relate to community development, climate justice and environmental sustainability, and this includes volunteer work in environmental advocacy with experience in climate action advocacy under the Climate Challenge Program Malawi.
Brian Simbeye is an environmentalist and an independent researcher. His research interests are in climate change and natural resources management with a special focus on how global environmental challenges impact people and the natural environment, and the interplay of policy issues in bringing about informed and sustainable solutions that are people‐centred. He is currently working on a citizen science research project, where he is working with refugees in trying to understand how they are coping with the environmental stress in relation to the different pandemics including COVID-19, thus with regard to the confined space they live in.
