
Mia Perry
Mia is the co-Director of the Sustainable Futures in Africa and a founding member as the PI of an initial Strategic Networking Grant from the Global Challenges Research Fund of the UK Research and Innovation body. She specialises in literacies and learning, arts and cultural production, and methodologies of research and teaching. Mia’s work in education spans inside and outside schools, community and public contexts, digital and informal learning. She is particularly interested in the interplay of humans and environments, the role of cultural practice and play in learning, and perspectives in research that account for decolonial and plural views and ways of inquiry and meaning making.
