
Nader Karimi
Nader Karimi is a lecturer at School of Engineering, University of Glasgow. He is an energy scientist and engineer with almost fifteen years of research experience. Nader completed his PhD at University of Melbourne, Australia in 2009 and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Darmstadt University of Technology in Germany and University of Cambridge in the UK before joining University of Glasgow in 2013.
His broad field of expertise includes chemical and thermal energy technologies. He is, particularly, interested in solar and biomass energy for decentralised generation of power and heat. Provision of clean and affordable energy through these renewable sources is amongst the ultimate aims of his research.
