David O. Ògúngbilé is a Professor of Comparative Religion and African Religions, Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

His research engagement, is deeply rooted in and drawn from ethnographic data and sources, which is on the various manifestations, expressions, and the dynamics of religions (Indigenous Religion, Islam and Christianity) in Africa.
